Academy payment and enrollment do not replace the athlete waiver requirement.

Required before facility use Payment + Athlete Waiver = Membership Access

The athlete's applicable Academy payment must be successfully completed and the required Hit Lab Athlete Waiver must be completed before full Academy membership access and the athlete's digital membership card are activated.

CYOJ Hit Lab is a youth athletic training environment. Athletes, parents, guardians and guests are expected to conduct themselves safely and respectfully at all times.

  • No running in the Lab Lounge, shop or other non-training areas.
  • No roughhousing inside the facility.
  • Respect athletes, coaches, staff, families and other facility users.

Section 03

Parent & Guardian Supervision

Parents and guardians are responsible for appropriately supervising children who accompany them to CYOJ Hit Lab.

Additional children

Parents and guardians must watch any additional children they bring into the facility. Children who are not actively participating in training should remain in appropriate non-training areas and may not run, roughhouse or enter active training areas without permission.

Parents and guardians should not allow children to interfere with batting cages, bullpen areas, equipment, technology, team practices, private instruction or other active training.

Section 04

Batting Cage & Training Safety

Batting cages, bullpen areas and other active training spaces involve moving balls, bats, training equipment and athletes. All users must remain aware of their surroundings and follow the instructions associated with the activity being performed.

  • Do not enter an active cage or training area until it is safe to do so.
  • Bats should only be swung in designated training areas.
  • Athletes should remain clear of other athletes who are hitting, throwing or using training equipment.
  • Use appropriate protective equipment for the activity being performed.
  • Follow all coaching, staff and posted safety instructions.
  • Stop an activity immediately if equipment, netting, flooring or another facility condition appears unsafe.

Equipment problem?

Stop using the equipment and see Hit Lab staff before continuing. Do not attempt to repair or disassemble facility equipment yourself.

Section 06

Academy Membership Access

The 2027 13U Baseball Academy package includes CYOJ Hit Lab membership access for the athlete from August 1, 2026 through August 1, 2027.

The included membership provides unlimited use of CYOJ Hit Lab during regular business hours, subject to facility availability, scheduling procedures, reservations, safety requirements and these Facility Rules.

Membership access does not guarantee that a specific cage, training area, piece of equipment or technology will be immediately available at every visit.

After-hours access

After-hours access is coming soon. Until that access program is formally activated for an athlete, Academy membership should not be interpreted as permission to enter or use the facility outside authorized operating or scheduled hours.

Section 07

Reservations & Shared Facility Use

CYOJ Hit Lab is a shared training facility used by individual athletes, teams, trainers, coaches, programs and other authorized users.

Academy athletes must follow applicable booking, reservation and facility-access procedures when using Hit Lab outside scheduled team activities.

  • Respect reserved cage and training times.
  • Finish the session when the applicable reservation or scheduled period ends.
  • Do not enter or take over an area currently reserved or actively being used by another athlete or group.
  • Follow any posted or communicated procedures for checking in and using training spaces.

Section 08

Membership Cards, Guests & Access

Academy membership is issued for the enrolled athlete and is not transferable to another athlete or family.

A digital Academy membership card may be used to confirm the athlete's active membership status and applicable facility access.

Guests, siblings, friends or other individuals accompanying an Academy athlete are not automatically granted the same training or membership privileges as the Academy member. Any participating guest remains subject to applicable facility requirements, safety rules and waiver requirements.

Section 09

Lab Lounge, Shop & Common Areas

The Lab Lounge, shop and common areas should remain safe, clean and accessible for athletes, families and staff.

  • No running.

  • Keep walkways and entrances clear.
  • Parents and guardians must supervise additional children they bring into the facility.
  • Dispose of trash and leave the area in reasonable condition for the next facility user.
  • Keep personal belongings out of active training areas and locations where they may create a safety hazard.

Section 10

Facility Property & Damage

Athletes, families and guests must treat CYOJ Hit Lab equipment, technology, furniture, fixtures and other property with reasonable care.

Accidental damage, equipment failure or other facility concerns should be reported to Hit Lab staff promptly.

Intentional misuse, reckless conduct, unauthorized modification of equipment or deliberate damage may result in restriction or suspension of facility access and may require additional review by CYOJ Hit Lab.

Section 11

Safety Concerns & Injuries

Athletes should stop participating and notify a coach, responsible adult or Hit Lab staff member if they are injured, become ill or believe a facility condition is unsafe.

Parents, guardians and athletes should communicate known restrictions or safety concerns to the appropriate coach or staff member when relevant to participation.

In an emergency, users should follow the directions of coaches, staff, emergency responders or other responsible personnel.

Section 12

Facility Rule Enforcement

CYOJ Hit Lab may intervene when conduct creates a safety concern, disrupts facility operations, interferes with another user's training or violates applicable facility rules.

Depending on the circumstances, an athlete, parent, guardian or guest may be directed to stop an activity, leave a training area or leave the facility.

Repeated, serious or unsafe violations may result in additional restrictions on facility access. Any such action will be evaluated based on the circumstances and the need to protect athletes, families, staff and facility operations.
