The CYOJ Hit Lab 13U Baseball Academy is built around developing complete baseball players in an environment that values fundamentals, preparation, confidence, effort and accountability.

At 13U, athletes are entering an important stage of baseball development. Training is designed to reinforce strong mechanics and baseball fundamentals while helping players improve their decision-making, preparation, communication and understanding of team baseball.

Coaching standards within the Academy emphasize purposeful instruction, clear expectations and consistent development. Athletes are expected to compete, learn from mistakes, support teammates and take ownership of their continued growth.

The Academy combines field-based team work at Geer Park with CYOJ Hit Lab as the program's West Salem training facility, giving athletes opportunities to develop in both outdoor and indoor training environments.

Participation requirements

A current CYOJ Hit Lab Athlete Waiver must be completed before the athlete may use CYOJ Hit Lab or participate in applicable Hit Lab activities. Academy and facility rules apply throughout the season.
